When we first established Rhodon Films, our vision went far beyond just improving video content for our clients. Instead, our main goal was to elevate the standard of filmmaking across the entire United Kingdom, beginning with the Northwest.
Our Background in Video Production
In our earlier roles in TV advertising, we primarily worked for agencies. Sometimes, we were employed by a production company hired by an advertising agency, which was then employed by a marketing department. As a result, this complex chain left us with little insight into what the end client or their customers thought of our work. Occasionally, we’d receive feedback from friends or family when one of our adverts aired on TV. However, staying in this industry often required long hours, leaving little time for family.
A Turning Point: Direct Client Engagement
Eventually, our first job for a direct client marked a significant turning point. It ended in joyful tears because the client was thrilled with the result. This experience not only set a high standard, which we now strive to achieve in every project, but it also highlighted the importance of direct client relationships and the value of immediate feedback.

When I wanted to get a video done to promote my business events I was really nervous….. (I am not a fan of listening to myself in videos / photos etc and so it was a real challenge for me.)
I really shouldn’t have worried…. Jason put me right at ease, he wrote me a script, gave me time to practice, positioned me so I would feel comfortable … explained the process and advised on different takes and angles which would work well.
The final film itself was over and above what I expected including different edits for social channels sized and ready to use. The whole process really exceeded my expectations and brought to life what I do so I finally have something I am happy to use.

When i discussed what we were looking for with Jason he told me that they always do a professional job and I could see that from the examples on their website. But, what I hadn’t grasped at all was how they would transform what seemed to me to be a bit of a collection of haphazard interviews on our part.
We really should have prepared more and understood what we were getting into better, especially mine as someone still pretty scared of any kind of camera let alone something like this, through some kind of magical process, that i can only describe as a minor miracle. Or, if maybe not quite a miracle, what must have taken an incredible amount of passionate hard work to pull everything together into the final compelling result that tells our story better than I could have ever imagined. Wow.
In the past I have seen enough to know that trying to do any kind of filming in house tends to produce something that is very amateurish. I can’t even compare what Rhodon films have done for us with what I have seen before, the quality of their work belongs on TV or the big screen.
