Video Production Package Case Study | Meet the Farmer

Meet the Farmer: One Film Against a Misconception

Millions of eggs for Tesco. And he knows his birds.

There’s a story people carry around about modern farming: that once you’re supplying a supermarket, the care goes out of it. That scale and compassion can’t live on the same farm.

Then you meet Llyr Jones.

Why we drove to Wales

Llyr farms in North Wales and supplies millions of eggs to Tesco. By the logic of the misconception, he should be exactly the kind of farmer people distrust. Spend an hour with him and the story falls apart, the natural environments he builds for his hens, the way he talks about his team, the land, and what he owes all three. He isn’t caring despite the scale. The care is how the scale works.

That’s a story you can’t tell in a paragraph. People have heard the words before; they’ve stopped believing them. But watch Llyr moving through his own farm, hear him explain it in his own accent at his own kitchen table, and something shifts. You don’t process it as a claim. You feel it as true.

That’s why we made this film and it’s why this page exists as an example of what a video production package can do. Because the misconception about farmers isn’t unusual. Almost every business has a version of it: the thing people assume about you that’s wrong, that you’re tired of correcting one conversation at a time.

What the package included

One shoot, one story, every platform. Here’s what came out of our trip to Wales:

The main film

We interviewed Llyr at a local B&B and filmed on the farm itself, his hens, his sheds, his land. Where licensed footage could cover the generic beats, we used it deliberately, so the budget went where it mattered: time with Llyr. That’s how a package stays affordable without the finished film feeling it.

The bonus tip.

While we had him, we asked Llyr for one piece of advice, and got a gem: why it’s better for everyone, hens included, if you buy medium eggs. Sixty seconds, entirely his, and the kind of clip that travels because it gives before it asks.

The misconception clip.

The cut the heart of the argument, the moment the film takes the stereotype apart, into a standalone social clip that works even for someone who’ll never watch the full film.

What this means for your business

You probably don’t farm eggs. But there’s likely something people get wrong about what you do, you’re “too big to care,” “too small to trust,” “just another agency,” “all the same as the rest.” Correcting it in copy doesn’t work, because claims are exactly what people have stopped believing.

A film works differently. It doesn’t argue the misconception away; it shows someone being the proof. And a package means that proof doesn’t live on one page, it goes everywhere your audience is, in every shape each platform wants.

What do people get wrong about you? Let’s have a conversation, no pitch, just an honest look at whether a film could change the story.
